CNN video: Former U.S. Air Force personnel claim they experienced UFO activity near nuclear sites at which they worked.

WASHINGTON, DC (CNN) - Speaking at the National Press Club on Monday, former members of the U.S. Air Force said UFOs exist and aliens could be trying to deliver messages to humans.

They believe that the aliens took an interest in the nuclear arms race that began at the end of World War II.

Researcher Robert Hastings was among those who took to the podium.

"Regarding the missile shut-down incidents, my opinion, their opinion, is that whoever are aboard this craft are sending a signal to both Washington and Moscow, among others, that we are playing with fire," Hastings said.

Hastings added that the possession and threatened use of nuclear weapons "threatens the human race and the integrity of the planetary environment."

Washington - A press conference was held this afternoon at the National Press Club in Washington, where at least a dozen former U.S. Air Force personnel, mostly officers who worked on secret projects connected to sensitive nuclear weapons sites, are admitting that they were privy to UFO and alien-related incidents -- that occurred during their time of service.
